Frances Carlisle

Carlisle, Frances E.age 86, of Linwood Township died on May 13, 2003 at her home surrounded by her family. Preceded in death by parents, sister Marge Swanson, brother Clarence Fiddyment, grandson Michael Carlisle and husband Clifford who passed away August. 9, 2002. Born in Anoka, MN on January. 24, 1917 she graduated from Anoka High School, class of 1935, graduated teaching school and taught in Nowthen, Anoka & Linwood, MN. Married Clifford Carlisle June 2, 1945 in Anoka & came to live and raise her family in Linwood. She was a past owner of Carlisle Store of Linwood, founding member of Sunnyside Church, member of Linwood Helping Hands Club, Linwood Athlectic Assoc. and Linwood Fire Dept. Womens Auxy.. Frances started a 4-H Club in Linwood. Lovinly missed by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survived by daughter Catherine Carlisle, Robert (Susie), John (Kathy), & Tom (Sheri); grandchildren, Stacey (Todd) Cunningham, Sarah (Keith) Kuhn, Stephanie (Scott) LaDue, Nick, Kristen, Andy, Joe, David, San, Steve and Codey; great grandchildren, Michael and Chase; sister-in-law, Beatrice (Frank) Gabrick; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and the community of Linwood. Funeral Service Saturday May 17, 2003 (1PM) at Sunnyside Free Lutheran Church, 5633 227th Ave NE, Stacy. Interment at Linwood Cemetery. Visitaion Friday 5-8PM May 16, 2003 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake, and one hour prior to service at church on Saturday.
