Frank R. Weber, age 69, of Forest Lake, passed away on December 26, 2022, after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Frank studied math and computer science at the University of Minnesota, where he became a super cray user and worked in the insurance industries as a system analyst. At age 17, he studied classical pipe organ in Cologne, Germany. He started piano at the age of 5, when he had rheumatic fever. He was allowed to be out of bed for 15 minutes a day. During this time, he went through all of the Thompson piano books, and he was taught classical pipe organ. He received many rewards from the Shubert Clubs in St. Paul for his abilities. He was a caregiver to his parents till they passed away. He then became the caregiver to his oldest sister, Jerry, through all her medical appointments and doctoring. Frank loved to travel the US, in his car, see many sights, and would visit the buffets and read. He loved books and buffets. He was a self-appointed “Park Patrol” with his lawn chair and good book. Frank had a special tradition of celebrating his birthday every month on the 9th.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Virginia; brother, Joseph; and nephew, Brian Kohout.
He is survived by siblings, Jerry Kohout, Bill (Kari); nieces, Cristine (Rick), Kelsey (Eric), Kirsten (Rob), Rachel, Reilin (Ryan), Heidi; 11 great grand nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 6, 2023, at the Church of Saint Peter, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Family will be greeting friends one hour prior to mass at the church.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made out to St. Jude Children Research Hospital.
