age 87 of Forest Lake
died, Sunday, September 30, 2007
He is preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Geneva (Schneider) Wilcox. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him including the love of his life, his beloved wife of 62 years Genevieve; children, Linda (Russ Havir) Wilcox, Frank (Karen) Wilcox Jr., Mary (Bob) Shevik; grandchildren, Kevin and Tim Ash, Mike and Marissa Wilcox, Anna, Margaret, Betsy, Katy Shevik; beloved cat Smudge. Frank was proud of his Northern Minnesota heritage, having grown up on the Iron Range and always enjoyed his visits "Up North". He was a proud graduate of St. Thomas University and a 40 year employee of 3M where he worked in Transportation.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, October 4, 2007 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake and 9:00-10:00 a.m., Thursday at the funeral home. Burial at St. Mary's Cemetery, North St. Paul. Memorials are preferred to U of M Department of Ophthalmology for Macular Degeneration Fund #4653 or St. Peter's Catholic Church of Forest Lake.
