Gary Murphy

Gary B. Murphy, age 71, of Lindstrom, Minnesota died December 1, 2013. Gary proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a 30 plus year employee of the railroad. Preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Agnes (Dailey) Murphy; siblings Dorothy Klock, Don, and Lois Medina. Gary will be missed by his wife of 48 years, Mary "Bonnie" Murphy (nee Schadegg); children, Colleen (Dan) Belland, Michael (Jackie); grandchildren, Andrew (Katherine) Murphy, Heather Belland, Sandra (Will) Taylor, Amy Murphy, Amber Belland, Danielle Belland; great-grandchild, Evelyn Taylor; Sister, Geraldine (Jim) Blackledge; many nieces, nephews and other extended family including his eleven Schadegg "siblings" and golfing buddy, JoAnne. Gary loved his frequent travels to Mexico with family and trips to Laughlin with "Bubs." The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m until the time of his Celebration of Life, Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at MATTSON FUNERAL HOME, 343 N. Shore Drive, Forest Lake, MN.
