Gene Hiland, age 72, of Stacy, Minnesota died Sunday, October 25, 2020 from his battle with cancer.  Gene was the former owner of Gene’s Liquor Store, Wyoming, Minnesota.  He will be forever remembered as a generous, kind man who made life good for so many.  He was preceded in death by his father, John C. Hiland Sr; mother, Gladys M. Robinson; brother, John C. Hiland Jr.; sister, Julie C. Johnson.  He is survived by his brother, Jack R. Hiland; best friend, Mavis J. Onasch; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
