He is survived by children,Cathy (Bernie) Welage, Matt (Molly), Mark; granchildren, Jennifer (Dustin) Brennan, Kim, Joshua, David, Matt, Maggie, Kait, Cassie, Mitchell, Connor; great grandchildren, Ethan, Olivia, Alexis, Madison and Kenzie; six siblings; many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 7, 2006 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 380 Little Canada Road, Little Canada. Visitation 5:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake and one hour prior to mass at the church. Burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
