Preceded in death by wife, Shirley; son, David; and two brothers. He is survived by his children, Denise (Troskey Vincent) Zeiher, Dean (Elaine), Dwayne, Dawn (Ken Nuppnau), Darlene (LeRoy) Magnuson, Deanna (Randy) Henk, Dwight (Hope Kostreba); daughter-in-law, Helen; eleven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and brother, Robert.
George was a Group Leader at Honeywell, where he worked for over 30 years. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII, a life member of both VFW Post 6583, and American Legion Post 225. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, active in the Knights of Columbus, and volunteer in the Adoration Chapel. He was the former Parade Chairman and was Grand Marshall in 1996.

Visitation 4:00-7:00 PM, Sunday, October 16, 2005 and one hour prior to funeral Monday at Mattson Funeral Home.
