Gilbert E. Miron, age 84 of Scandia, died Tuesday, August 31, 2010. He is preceded in death by his parents, Meseal and Julia (Brisson) Miron, siblings, Clifford, Thomas, Martha. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him including his daughter Bernadette; step-daughters, Audine (Ben) Kessel, Betty (Bill) Beutel, Paulette (Charles) Johnson; family in Christ, Victoria, Samuel, Jennifer Woolford; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; five siblings; many other family and friends; including his many friends at the St. Paul Farmers Markets.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will be 6:00-8:30 p.m., Monday; continuing 9:00-10:00 a.m., Tuesday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Interment at Withrow Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family or the St. Peter’s Catholic Church for masses in his name.
