Gloria M. DonCarlos, age 90, of North Branch, formerly St. Louis Park died August 17, 2013. Gloria was born on December 22, 1922, in
Montevideo, Minnesota to her parents, Benjamin and Nellie Feldhake.. She is preceded in death by her husband, William C.; 2 sisters, Leona Halverson and Gladys Fazendin; grandson, Michael. Survived by son, Michael (Katherine); daughter, Diane (David Keller) DonCarlos; Grandchildren: Andrew DonCarlos, Sam Porter, Ben DonCarlos, Melissa DonCarlos, William DonCarlos, Heather Rhodes; Great-Grandchildren: Sophia Porter, Miles Porter and Eliza DonCarlos; Sister, Benita Talbot; and other extended family. Gloria will be missed but always remembered for her scrabble games, taking all the grandchildren to the TWINS games and most of all, being a loving grandma and mother.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 30, 2013 at the Ft. Snelling Memorial Chapel (Take MN Hwy 55 and take the Bloomington Rd. Exit. Follow the signs to the chapel) Family will greet friends one hour prior to service.
Interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Courage Center, 3915 Golden Valley Rd., Minneapolis, MN 55422 www.couragecenter.org
