Gordon Pfaffendorf

Gordon "Gordy" Pfaffendorf, age 58 of Linwood Township, died, Sunday, March 17, 2013. Gordy was born December 23, 1954 in Saint Paul, Minnesota the son of Wilbur and Everal (Novy) Pfaffendorf. He attended Forest Lake High School. Following high school he began working as a brake press operator and continued in this career path until he was diagnosed with Ataxia and was forced into early retirement. Gordy felt most at home in the outdoors, he loved deer hunting and fishing for walleyes and always looked forward to his next trip outdoors. He was a caring family man, who loved and thought of his children and grandchildren when they were not together. He will be deeply missed by his children, Blake (Anna) Pfaffendorf, Brooke (Brad) Glyer, grandchildren, Makayla and Kolton Glyer; parents, Wilbur and Everal; brothers, Dale, Darrell, Wayne (Rose) Pfaffendorf; girlfriend, Kathy Koska. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 22, 2013 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment at Linwood Township Cemetery.
