January 28, 1925 — June 3, 2016

Grace "Gracie" Schwartz, of Chisago City, Formerly of St. Paul Jan. 28, 1925 – June 3, 2016 A beloved Mother, Grandma & Great Grandma, who left a legacy of faith, love and total commitment to her family, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Grace retired from 3M in the 1980's. She was an artistic, effervescent woman with a beautiful smile. For her, her family was her biggest accomplishment. She never forgot to say I love you "with all my heart." Grace was the last member of her family's generation. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank; sons-in-law, Bill Hastings and Art Ostman Survived by her daughters, Penny Hastings, Sue Ostman, Cindy Schwartz, Barbara (Bob) Bomar, Mary (Greg) Carlson; sons, Frank (Shelly) Schwartz, Thomas (Paula) Schwartz, James (Nancy) Schwartz, Alan (Valerie) Schwartz; 30 grandchildren; and 27 great grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 17, 2016 at St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church, 13060 Lake Blvd., Lindstrom. Visitation 9:30-10:30. Private interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
