Guy Allen Lehner

Guy Allen Lehner, age 72, passed away peacefully at home in Sandstone, Mn on Aug 25th, 2024. 

Guy is survived by his wife of 42 years, Tammy. Also his 5 children; Christopher (Ashley), Tasha (David), Joshua (Jillian), Alex (Lacey), and Alicia (Justin); 13 grandchildren Mikahla, Marissa, Madysun, Dawson, Matthew, Nathan, Preston, Ezra, Savannah, Micah, Waylon, Amelia and Abigail. 4 great grandchildren; Evelynn, Isabelle, Adelaine and Malakai. Brother and sisters; Gary (Tammy), Sandy, Becky and Penny (Denny) and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents Lyle and Doris Lehner, sister Wendy, Nephew Jeremiah and his dear friend, Jim.

 Guy was born August 7th, 1952 in Minneapolis, Mn. Raised in the Forest Lake area, he attended Forest Lake Sr High, graduating in 1970. He worked in Public Works for most of his life and served for the Wyoming Fire Department for 20+years.

Guy was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting anything legal to hunt and fishing for days on end. He always enjoyed sharing his passion of the outdoors with his kids, grandkids and great nephews, Ryan and Aaron.

 A special thanks to Guy's best friend, Mike Marx and his family for their constant support to him. Whether it was doctors appointments, making sure Guy had everything he needed or just to simply snatch him away to the cabin for a game of cribbage, Mike was always there.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1pm on Saturday September 7th, 2024, at Wild Wings of Oneka,14733 Irish Ave N, Hugo, Mn.  Luncheon will be provided.
