Hall Rasmussen

September 13, 1916 — April 11, 2009

age 92 of Scandia, died April 11, 2009.


Preceded in death by his first wife, Mary; brother, Vern; sister, Lois Berg. He is survived by his wife Hermina, whom he married on October 10, 1987; his children, Donna Uhlendorf, Richard, and Larry; sisters, Petie Lutton, Mary Ayotte; grandchildren, Dawn Tepley, Mike and Kurt Uhlendorf, Jamie and Jaclyn Rasmussen; great grandchildren, Heidi, Rachel, Anna, Joshua, Katie, Cory, Dustin; great great granddaughters, Gwyn, Aiden, Ariela; many other relatives and friends.


Hall had been a meat packer for Armour’s for 42 years. He was a member of the Scandia-Marine Lions and Lifetime Member of the VFW. Hall very generously gave of his time and talents in the community, volunteering for the Red Cross, Meals on Wheels, Recycling and Ushering at Elim for 25 years. He will be missed by all those who knew him.


Funeral Service 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 16, 2009 at Elim Lutheran Church, 20971 Olinda Trail N., Scandia. Visitation 5-8 PM, Wednesday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will continue one hour prior to service at church. Interment in Elim Lutheran Cemetery.
