Harald Madsen

Harald R. Madsen, age 88 of St. Anthony, MN, died, Monday, April 20, 2009. Harald was born June 16, 1920 in Askov, MN to Carl and Johanna Madsen. He was a proud veteran of WWII, having served in the Merchant Marines on an ammunition ship for four years.  Harald is preceded in death by his wife Lucille (Richards) whom he married in 1952. He is survived by his daughter Linda Madsen and her husband Tim Klinkhammer. Harald is also survived by his wife Mary and her children, Conrad (Linda) Urbik, Cleo (Tom) Zeismer and their children and grandchildren. He is also preceded in death by his step daughter Bonnie Launderville.

Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home. Interment at Victor Hill Cemetery.
