She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Clara (Almquist); husband Lorainne Farmer Johnson; brother Donald Ekegren. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her including her sisters, DeLores Ecklund, Corinne Pahklamets; sister-in-law Ruth Ekegren; several nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 9, 2008 at Elim Lutheran Church, 20971 Olinda Trail North, Scandia. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 p.m., Friday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Interment at Elim Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Elim Lutheran Church or Gammelgarden.
