Hazel Ekvall

Hazel Pearl Ekvall, age 89, of Coon Lake, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 15, 2012. Hazel was born October 17, 1923 to Harry and Edith (Hjort) Sausen. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene; daughters, Sandra and Cindy. She is survived by her son, Barry (Mary); five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; sister, Shirley Anderson; other extended family and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 19, 2012 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment at Victor Hill Cemetery.
