H.L. Taurman

H.L. "Buster" Taurman, age 85, of Forest Lake, died peacefully on May 7, 2011, while surrounded by his family. Buster was the former owner of Wagner's Hamburger Shop in Forest Lake and Mac's Dinette in No. St. Paul. Preceded in death by parents Herbert & Beatrice Taurman; and the grandparents who raised him, Lewis & Clara Taurman. He is survived by Betty, his wife of 62 years; daughters, Roxanne (Mark) Ramaley; Jane (Jeff) Hamlin, Mary Jo (Kelly) Brodt, Gwen (Greg) Gordon; grandchildren, Ryan, Chad, Neysa, Justin, Jeren, Jillisa, Jordan, Jennifer, Lyndsey, Christian, Jesse, Alexis, Kristopher, Andrew, Lauren, Dylan, Matthew; great grandchildren, Carter, Addyson, Lucas, Hayden. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 12, 2011 at The Church of St. Peter, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation 4-8 p.m., Wednesday, at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Interment at Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Peter's School or Sharing & Caring Hands.
