Hope Bruce

Hope Margaret Bruce (Hansen), age 73, of Forest Lake, lost her 4 year battle with cancer on September 2, 2015. Preceded in death by 2nd husband, John Bruce (of Forest Lake Accounting); parents, Harley & Dorothy Hansen; sister, Ellen Sandmann; brothers, Larry and Stewart Hansen; 3 infant children. She is survived by sister, Penelope "Penny" (Michael) Rhoades; brother, Harley "Hal" (Dorothy) Hansen, Jr.; 13 nieces & nephews; 24 great nieces & nephews; and 1st husband, Ron Genz. A Celebration of Hope's Life will be 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 18, 2015 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Interment at Scandinavian Cemetery, Forest Lake.
