Howard Leikvold

Howard Leikvold, age 94, passed away at home on November 15, 2013. A 38 year resident of Wichita, KS, Howard enjoyed the last six years in Chisago City, MN. He recently earned the nickname "Great" and he was a great husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Of his many accomplishments his proudest was his family, whom he raised with his wife, Virginia, of 60 years. Virginia preceded him in death. Howard's life was full of good times spent with family, friends, neighbors and members of his church. Throughout his good days and bad, he always sang a happy tune. Howard's laugh filled the room and will be missed by all. His legacy is that of a life well lived, filled with generosity and compassion for whomever he met.
