Irene Kirby

Irene Beatrice Kirby, age 93, of East Bethel, Minnesota, formerly of Northeast Minneapolis, passed away Friday, September 23, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hegge and Amanda Engebretson; husband, Harry Kirby; son, Alan Kirby; step-daughter, MaryLou Kirby; siblings, Alwood, Elvina, Dorothy. She is survived by daughter, LeighAnn (Andy) Zinken; daughter-in-law, Zandra Kirby; step-son, Donald Kirby; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Babinski; nieces, nephews, other special relatives and friends. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 11:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Interment will follow at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
