Jacque Renard

Jacque A. Renard, age 71 and lifelong Forest Lake resident, died peacefully while surrounded by his family following complications from cancer on Saturday, July 9, 2011. Jacque was a mason contractor his entire life in addition to being the founder of Ace High Casino. He was a member of the Forest Lake Fire Department, Forest Hills Golf Club and the Church of Saint Peter. He was an avid sportsman who will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him including his beloved wife of 50 years, Dianne; children, Ron (Monica), Randy (Wendy), Renee (Marc) Nelson; grandchildren, Macy and Madison Nelson, Raelene, Ryan, Cole, Evan, Raymond, Rosalie, Brandon and Matt Renard; siblings, Susan (Richard) Lundgren, Kenneth (Judy), Jeff; many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Muriel; son, Rick. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 15, 2011 at the Church of Saint Peter, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. The family will greet friends from 4:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
