Jacqueline Virginia Weisser Herzog Mother of five sons, long-time Riverside, CA resident, teacher and artist. Jackie passed away on December 20, 2007 in Covina, California after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Jackie was born on October 3, 1927 and was raised in Forest Lake, Minnesota by parents, Eleanor and Joseph Weisser. Jackie graduated from Forest Lake High School in 1945 and the College of St. Catherine in Saint Paul in 1949. She soon married Rudolph George Herzog in 1951 and gave birth to five sons in seven years, who all survived her: Robert "Bud" of Littleton, Colorado, Mark of Highland, CA, Joseph of Lake Arrowhead, CA, Thomas of Covina, CA and Richard of Portland, Oregon. Jackie has five grandchildren who all survived her. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents and her younger brother, Bud. The older our mother got, the more we came to respect and appreciate the sacrifices she made for all of us. She will always be the angel on our shoulders. We love you very much, Mom! Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Calvary Cemetery, Forest Lake, Minnesota
