James Kneissel

James "Jim" Kneissel, age 88 of Forest Lake, Minnesota. Jim passed away peacefully on December 18, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Betty; son, Gary (Mary), daughter, Lynne (Tim); five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister, Peg. Jim told his family several times that he lived the perfect life. He was brought up in a family of seven, born and raised in St. Paul. He served in the Army during WWII in Italy, came home and married his wife of 62 years. He worked as a mail carrier in White Bear Lake for 30 years. The last 50 years, he has lived in Forest Lake. He enjoyed his family, golfing and fishing. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him and were honored to be a part of his "perfect life". Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Faith Lutheran Church, 886 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church with lunch to follow. Interment at Scandinavian Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to Alzheimer's Association.
