James B. Larkin, age 91, of Maplewood, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2021.  James enjoyed gardening and woodworking.  He tried to be a "Mr. Fix It" while tinkering around with everything.  James is preceded in death by wife, Leona; brothers, Vernon, Bernice, and Larry.  He is survived by children, Marion, Charlotte, James, Laura, Alexander, Virginia; step-children, Josephine, Danny; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; friends, Deb and Dave, Bill and Ilene; and his St. Peter's Catholic School Family.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, May 17, 2021, at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake.  The family will be greeting friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Interment at Fort Snelling.
