Janice Hoven

Janice M. Van Hoven, age 69 of Scandia, died Saturday, April 23 2016. Janice was an avid collector of Fiestaware. She will be remembered for her holiday meals and cookie trays. She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Maren (Abraham) Wemyss; brother, Robert. She will be deeply missed by her devoted husband, Jim; beloved children, Jill (Matthew) McKenzie, Jeff; grandchildren, Tyler and Maiah; brother, Darrell (Linda); nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Elim Lutheran Church, 20971 Olinda Trail, Scandia. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake; and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment at Elim Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the church.
