Janna Renee Anderson, (nee Zelinski), was born July 3, 1966 in Fargo, ND to Miriam (nee Gunderson) and Jack Zelinski. Janna has a younger brother, Mike Zelinski and older half-brothers, Rick and Bruce Zelinski . Janna's childhood years were spent in Fargo, ND. Janna graduated from Fargo North High in 1984. She played softball and enjoyed reading. Janna was very social and close to the people around her. Janna met Jim Anderson in 1985 when she was 19 years old. Jim and Janna got married August 22, 1987 in Fargo, ND at Hope Lutheran Church. During their 24 year marriage, Jim and Janna lived in Fargo, ND; Anchorage, AK; Phoenix, AZ; Las Vegas, NV; and finally settled down in Minnesota. On August 2, 1993, they were blessed with their first born, Brittany. Their son, Benjamin, was born on March 2, 1997, making their family complete.
Janna worked many different jobs during her lifetime but she was first and foremost a wife and mother. Her love for her children was apparent to anyone who saw her with them. Anyone who knows Janna at all knows that, after her family, her passions were COFFEE and CHOCOLATE!
Janna's faith was of utmost importance in her life and she was involved in several different ministries including Kid's Church and Love Lines, a Christian Outreach ministry.
Janna is preceded in death by her Mother, Miriam (nee Gunderson) Zelinsk; Father, John Joseph "Jack" Zelinski; Grandmother, Eliza Gunderson; and Aunt, Eileen Anderson. She is survived by Her loving husband Jim Anderson and beautiful children Brittany and Benjamin, Brother, Mike Zelinski (Kenai, Alaska); and older half-brothers, Rick Zelinski and Bruce Zelinski; Aunt Carole and Uncle Allen Eide; Uncles, George (Eileen) Gunderson, Richard (Jeanette) Gunderson and many cousins and loved ones.
After Janna's diagnosis with terminal brain cancer, she would often say, "Who knew?" Her message to you is that you never know so, "Take time to enjoy life!" http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/jannaanderson
