Jean M. Bonner Johnson

Jean M. Bonner Johnson, 90, passed away in her home at Kingsway Retirement Living in Belle Plaine the evening of June 24, 2023. Jean was born April 24, 1933, in Waukegan, Illinois to her parents, Chief Petty officer Aaron Custer and wife, Henrietta. Jean was a loving mother to not only her 5 children but many nieces, nephews, and foster children. Jean is survived by her children, Merle Bonner, Jr of Vernon, FL (Susan Baldry), Henry Bonner of Hutchinson, MN (Irish), Heide Steinmetz of Montgomery, MN, Michael Bonner of Saucier, MS (Kristine), daughter-in-law, Cindy Bonner of New Prague, MN, 15 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 14 great great grandchildren and many other family and friends. Jean is preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother and 3 sisters, husbands, Merle Bonner Sr. and Donald Johnson; son, Linwood Bonner, and many family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held for Jean on July 15, 2023 starting at 11am at the Lagoon Park in Jordan Minnesota.
