Jeannette Hawkinson

Jeannette F. Hawkinson, age 97 of Forest Lake, died peacefully while surrounded by her family on Wednesday, June 19, 2013. Jeannette retired from 3M after 35 years of employment. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Faith Lutheran Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Annie Miller; husband, George Hawkinson; step-daugher, Betty Bergerson; siblings, Violet Miller, Judith Peterson, John Miller. She is survived by her step-daughters, Jean Shank, Judy Erickson; step-son-in-law, Garnet Bergerson; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; niece, Nancy Miller; nephew, Paul (Vickie) Miller; god-child, Pam Young. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Therese at Oxbow Lake and North Memorial Hospice for their excellent care and attention given to Jeannette. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Faith Lutheran Church, 886 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. PLEASE NOTE: Entry to the church is required from turning on 6th Avenue and taking 1st Street to proceed to the North Main Entrance of the church the day of the service. Interment at Scandinavian Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to Faith Lutheran Church.
