Jens Stolz

Jens U. "Jim" Stolz, age 61 of Linwood Township, Minnesota, died peacefully while surrounded by his family on Thursday, March 20, 2014. Jim was born on August 17, 1952 in Neustadt Germany to Annemarie Holdinghausen and Edwin Donath. He was adopted by Thomas Stolz and became an American citizen on November 22, 1963. He proudly served his country in the US Army from October 16, 1969-July 31, 1991; advancing to the rank of Master Sergeant. He was united in marriage to Maryann Spencer on February 5, 1981 and again on August 17, 2013. Jim worked with the Department of Interior Fish and Wildlife, Law Enforcement Division where he earned the admiration and respect of his peers and supervisors and made many friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife, Maryann; children, Chris, Tommy, Stephanie (Keith) Burth, Tracy (Donald White) Stolz; seven grandchildren; many other family and friends. Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Linwood Community Center, 22817 Typo Creek Dr. NE, Stacy. Family will greet friends one hour prior to service. Interment with Military Honors at Linwood Cemetery.
