Jerrell Navara

Jerrell "Jerry" Navara, age 79 of Forest Lake, died March 15, 2016. Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Navy and is a retired St. Paul Police Officer of 25 years. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survived by his loving wife, Darlene and their children: Michael (Andrea), Cheryl (Geno) Zoya, Kevin (Shayna); 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 4 siblings and other extended family. A service celebrating Jerry's life will take place at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m., until the time of service at the funeral home. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
