Jerry Legus

Jerry Legus, age 79 of Underwood, Minnesota, formerly of Minneapolis, Minnesota, died Friday, August 25, 2017. Jerry worked as a career systems analyst at the United States Postal Service Data Center. He is preceded in death by his parents, John "Jack" and Violet Legus; former spouse, Sheila Legus; sister, Joan. He is survived by his children, Glen (Suzanne) Legus, Carrie Legus, Laurie (Shelly Christman) Legus: grandchildren, Nichole (Karge), Scott (Mariah), Dylan, Max, Sheila, Lily; great-grandchild, Karge; brother, John "Jack" Legus; other family and friends. Memorial Services will be held at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The son and daughter will also greet friends from 4-6 p.m., on Friday, at the American Legion Post #489, 112 S. Main Street, Underwood. Memorials are preferred to the family.
