Gerald L. Partridge, age 85, of Wyoming, Minnesota, born December 13, 1933, passed on March 9, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alphonse and Edna; brother, Robert; sister-in-law, Ragna. He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Diane; daughter Christy Lee (Bill) Hallbeck; grandson, Shawn Imgrund; brother, Richard (Dorothy); many nieces and nephews; special friends, Keith (Jen) Hansen; special friends, Jim and Joyce Rafferty. Jerry grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota and attended South High School, from there he joined the United States Navy and spent six months in the Mediterranean aboard the U.S.S Fremont as a radar man for year years. He was honorably discharged after his service time ended as a 3rd class petty officer. He went into the printing business, working for McGill Company, Colwell Press and Western Engraving. He operated several different presses. Jerry had many hobbies; golfing, sewing, music and dancing. He was a Mason for 40 years in the Robbinsdale Lodge. He was also a member of AA for 30 years in Anoka, Minnesota. Jerry, along with his wife and daughter, enjoyed traveling. Together they visited many countries, South America, Machu Picchu, Mexico, Hawaii, Italy, Amazon River and many US cities.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 22, 2019 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
