John was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota to Clarence and Rose Drobinski. John graduated from St. Agnes Catholic School in St. Paul before attending college where he studied machining. After college, John worked at Com Tal in Vadnais Heights for several years. John was a dedicated and committed individual, both in his personal and professional life. He established JD Precision Inc, 29 years ago, a testament to his hard work and unwavering dedication. Through his relentless pursuit of excellence, John earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues and customers alike.
John married Gwen (Steinhaus) Drobinski on August 25, 1990. He shared a deep and meaningful bond with his wife, Gwen Drobinski, who stood by his side throughout their incredible journey. He loved hunting, fishing and most of all golfing. Nine years ago, John and Gwen grew tired of the cold and started spending extended time in Winter Haven, Florida. This allowed John to continue to work on his golf game year round.
John loved sweet treats of all kinds, almost as much as he loved his friends, family and neighbors. John's passion for life extended beyond his professional and personal commitments. He was known for his kind and compassionate nature, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need or to give you the shirt off his back. His warm smile and infectious laughter brightened the lives of everyone he encountered, leaving a lasting impact on their hearts.
He was preceded in death by both his parents; his older brothers, Jerome and Donny.
John is survived by his wife, Gwen; children, Steve (Jen) Steinhaus, April Beck, Chris Drobinski and Nick Drobinski; his sisters, Joan (Jerry) Ogren, Sue (Gary) Freseman, Barbara Benassi, Cynthia Brooks, Sharon (Tom) Bauer.
