John B. Israelson, age 83, lifelong resident of Forest Lake, died September 26, 2005.
He was born November 29, 1921 to Fred and Ruth (Anderson) Israelson.
John was a US Coast Guard veteran of WWII and dedicated member of American Legion Post 225.
John was preceded in death by his parents and special friend, Margaret Berger.
He is survived by his cousin, Ethel Israelson VanRyswyk and her husband, Gary VanRyswyk.
Funeral service 11:00 AM, Friday, September 30, 2005, MATTSON FUNERAL HOME, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral service. Interment in Scandinavian Cemetery.
