John Jensen

John F. Jensen, age 70, of Wyoming, died after a short battle with Interstitial Lung Disease. John was a proud member of St. Paul Electrical Union #110 and retired volunteer fire fighter for the City of Wyoming and a proud Veteran of the United State Air Force. He was a great husband, father and grandfather, with many dear relatives and friends, including his wife, Margaret; sons, Scott (Nichole), Todd (Lynelle), daughter, Carrie (Matt) Greene; daughter-in-law, Trisha Cochenour; and nine grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his son, Troy; and grandson, Nathan. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 21, 2014 at the Church of St. Peter, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. The family will greet friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Friday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Interment at Calvary Cemetery immediately following services. Due to allergies in the family, green plants are requested in lieu of fresh cut flowers.
