John C. TrippelBeloved Son, Husband,Father and GrandfatherOf Hugo passed away peacefully at home on May 25, 2003. Survived by loving family; wife Phyllis, children Zachary, Jacob (Lisa), and Leah (Gene) Hageman, parents Fred & Ella Trippel of Glencoe MN, brother Frederick (Donna) and sister Alice Lietzau also of Glencoe, and many other relatives and friends. John had one grandson Nathan (son of Jacob & Lisa) and another grandchild who will be born in July to Leah and Gene. A special thank you to the Critical Care and Oncology Staff at United Hospital and Allina Hospice for their care and support to John and his family. On Friday, May 30 we will celebrate his life at a service at NEW LIFE CHURCH-LUTHERAN (6000 148th St N, Hugo) at 10:00 AM. Visitation will be at MATTSON FUNERAL HOME Home in Forest Lake from 4 to 8 PM on Thursday, May 29, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake, and 1 hour prior to service at church. Interment at St. John's Cemetery in Hugo. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred.
