Jon was an avid hunter, fisherman and all around outdoorsman.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Edwin. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Bert; step-children, Jeff (Clarine) Jacobson, Jon Jacobson; grandchildren, Ryan, Dylan, Jeremy, Melissa; great grandchildren, Alexis, James, siblings, Allen (Harriett), Carolyn (Lonnie), Bill (Catherine), Marilyn; many friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m.,Thursday, August 14, 2008 at the Coon Lake Senior Center, 182 Forest Road, East Bethel. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
