Jonathon Rudquist

Jonathon R. Rudquist, age 39, of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota died unexpectedly on Friday, September 9, 2022.  Jon was born February 27, 1983 in Fergus Falls, Minnesota the son of Daniel Timm and Kathy Rudquist.  He graduated from Cambridge High School, Class of 2001.  Following graduation, he attended Brown College where he studied computer technology.  Jon worked at Direct Resources for 12 years before taking a position in IT with Target Corporation.

In his downtime Jon loved playing video games, being outdoors, enjoying some hot wings and steak, and hanging with his family and friends.  He loved his exotic pet birds and proudly rehabilitated several over the past years.  One of his greatest accomplishments was earning his scuba certification and diving with his Mom in Hawaii.  He will be forever missed for his positive attitude in the face of challenges.  It would be a rare occasion to see Jon without a huge smile on his face, laughing and encouraging others.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, LeRoy and Lois Rudquist; aunt, Lynn Zimmerman.  He is survived by his mother, Kathy “KJ” Rudquist; father, Dan (Tracy) Timm; siblings, Zachary Forslin, Kyle Timm, Kasey Timm; grandparents, Marie (Lauren) Roesner, Norm (Karen) Timm; aunts and uncles, Kim McGrath, Lori (Brad) Formo, Doug (Debbie) Rudquist, Dave Brevig, Julie Timm, Margo (Doug) Williams, Lon Timm; many cousins and dear friends.

A celebration to honor Jon’s life will be held at a later date.
