Joni Matthews-Froemming, age 71, of Forest Lake, passed away May 18, 2011. Survived by husband, William "Bill"; children, Ernest (Sherrie) Matthews, Jaycee (Chad) Troup, Tim (Corina) Matthews; step sons, Mark (Patty) Froemming, Ken Froemming; grandchildren, Thomas, Nick, Josh, Daniel, Kara, Jason, Courtney, and Cody; as well as siblings, and other family and friends. Joni's spirit lives on through the thousands of minds she opened through education. Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.
