of St. Paul, born in Eau Claire, died, Sunday, November 18, 2007 surrounded by her family. Joy was a beloved teacher, lifelong learner and world traveler.
Preceded in death by her husband Victor G. Tschida; brother Lawrence Decker. Survived by her loving children, Richard (Sheila), Victor H. (Kathleen Scanlan), Catherine (James Reuter), Jennifer Tschida, Mary Patrice, Stephen; 15 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; siblings, Nan (Joe) Frantz, Ray Decker, Eugene Decker.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, November 24, at St. Joseph Catholic Church,1154 Seminole Avenue, West. St. Paul. The family will greet friends one half hour prior to mass at the church. A celebration will be held following mass at the Southview Country Club, 239 East Mendota Road, W. St. Paul. Private family interment at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to UNICEF.
