Joyce Engstrom

Joyce Engstrom, age 83, of Marine on St. Croix, Minnesota, died peacefully on Saturday, October 2, 2021 after a long journey.  She enjoyed bowling, snowmobiling, crocheting, camping on the North Shore with family and friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Watson and Virginia Hughes.  She will be deeply missed by her beloved husband of 62 years, Larry; devoted children, Mike, Linda (Duke) Schultz, Mark (Evelyn Holmes), Steve (Lori Thomas), Laura (John) Zajac; grandchildren, Travis (Tasha), DJ (Jen), Zach, Luke, Logan, Leshia (James); great grandchildren, Sydney, Makayla; other family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Elim Lutheran Church, 20971 Olinda Trail North, Scandia.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m., until the time of service at the church. Interment at Elim Lutheran Cemetery.  Memorials are preferred to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Shriners Hospital. Masks are required at the visitation and funeral service.
