Joyce Hagen

Joyce G. Hagen, age 80 of Forest Lake.  Died, peacefully on Sunday, May 23, 2010. Joyce was an elementary school teacher for 37 years, having educated students in Minnesota and across the country. She enjoyed bird watching, gardening and being a part of her community. Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Ann (Dalluge) Brown; husband Donald Hagen; brother Owen Brown; nephew Daniel Brown. She is survived by her niece Ann Brown; many cousins, friends and devoted caregivers. A Celebration of Her Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 4, 2010 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 9185 Lexington Avenue Northeast, Circle Pines. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Private family interment took place last week at Oakland Cemetery, Marine on the St. Croix. Memoriasl are preferred to the church or Parmly LifePointes, 28210 Old Towne Road, Chisago City, Minnesota 55013.
