Julia Fellwock

November 30, 1908 — March 24, 2011

Julia Gesena Fellwock, age 102 of Forest Lake Born November 30, 1908 in Pettis County, Missouri to Herman and Margaret (Maas) Eding, she grew up and graduated from High School in Sedalia, Missouri. On June 30, 1930 Julia and Rev. Arnold H. Fellwock were united in marriage. They moved to Canada, where Arnold served several parishes for 8 years. In 1938 they moved to McIntosh, Minnesota. While there, they were blessed with their children, adopting Deidra, then Curtis, followed by the birth of Geraldine. In addition to being a busy mother, Julia worked alongside her husband in the various parishes he served. Following Arnold's death in 1963, Julia worked at Lutheran Deaconess Hospital in Minneapolis until moving back to Sedalia in 1965. There she worked at Fairview Nursing Home and Bothwell Memorial Hospital until she retired in 1978. Julia moved to Forest Lake in 1991, where she lived until her death on March 24, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Viola Buchholz; brother Henry Edding; husband Arnold; and son Curtis. Julia is survived by her daughters, Deidra (Lester) Winter of Hugo, Geraldine of Temple City, California; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren, with one on the way; as well as other family and friends. Memorial Service 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 23, 2011 at New Life Lutheran Church, 148th Street, Hugo. Gathering of family and friends one hour prior to service. Interment at First Lutheran Cemetery, Glencoe, MN
