June Husnik

June A. Husnik, age 91, Life Long Forest Lake Resident, died, Tuesday, September 22, 2015. June was born and raised in Centerville, Minnesota, the daughter of Joseph and Philomene (Cartier) Proulx. She was a loving, kind and giving woman, who always had a meal ready for anyone who stopped by. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter; 15 siblings. She is survived by her children, Walter Jr. "Sam" (Sandy), Terry (Joan), Marykaye (Mike Holgate) Husnik, Michelle (John) Deters; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews; family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, September 28, 2015 at The Church of Saint Peter, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday and 9:00-10:00 a.m., Monday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. A time of sharing will begin at 7:30 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home. Interment at St. Genevieve Catholic Cemetery, Centerville.
