June Kardell

June Helen Kardell, age 62 of Chisago City, died January 13, 2009. Preceded in death by father Paul E.L. Peterson; mother Helen Peterson.
She is survived by her husband, Darrel; sister, Lois (Jim) Peterson; brother, Loren (Linda); children, Rena (Tom) Pepin, Kimberly (Darrin) Crook; grandchildren, Calvin, Megan, Emily, and Abigail.
June was born on June 23, 1946 in Chisago City. In 1958 she symbolized her dedication to Jehovah God by water immersion in New York. She was a faithful servant of Jehovah throughout her life. June married Darrel Kardell on October 3, 1964 in Chisago City.
June had a love for the outdoor activities and also nature itself. She did have the adventurous side of her, whether it was exploring new areas, or just kayaking around the lake. She also enjoyed the times with her loving husband, Darrel, spending time out on the lake reeling in fish. But, what always was important to her was family.
Memorial Service 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 17, 2009 at Kingdom Hall Of The Jehovah Witnesses, 19025 Forest Blvd., Forest Lake. Gathering of family and friends 4:00~7:00 p.m., Friday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake.
