June Miller

June E.Miller, age 86 of Forest Lake, Minnesota passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 12, 2012 in her home at the Meadows on Fairview in Wyoming, Minnesota. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and will be greatly missed for her delicious baked goods and skills at cribbage and five hundred. June was known as a devoted church member and community volunteer. June was born June 3, 1925 to Fred and Julia (Spieser) Wenzel) in Lino Lakes, Minnesota. She is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd of 61 married years; sisters, Millie and Bernice. Survived by children: Sheryl Miller (Rob Schilling); Bradley (Margaret); Kim (Ron) Lange; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings Fred (Marion) Wenzel; Ethel (Elmer) Crohn, Gloria (Ivars) Kauls; many other cherished family members and friends. June's family is extremely grateful for the special friends and caring staff at Meadows on Fairview and Fairview Lakes Home Care and Hospice. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake, MN and continue one hour prior to service. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 18, 2012 at Gethsemane United Methodist Church, 7330 Lake Drive, Lino Lakes, MN. Burial will follow at Rice Lake Cemetery, Lino Lakes, MN. Memorials may be designated to the church.
