June Schupp

June T. Schupp, age 92, formerly of Elgin, IL, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2015. She was born September 17, 1923 in Greenwich County, Connecticut, the daughter of Charles and Grace (Littlejohn) Tryon. June was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 65 years, Irving; two sisters, Helen, Vivian; brother, Edward. Surviving are her three children, Janice Moles of Bryon, IL, Wayne (Jacquelyn) of Minneapolis, MN, David (Sue) of Avondale, AZ; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. June was a former "Rosie the Riveter" during World War II, assembling fighter planes to support our Soldiers, Sailors and Marines in Europe and Pacific theaters. During her life, June was an avid on-site fan of her children's and grandchildren's many activities and never missed an opportunity to cheer on her favorite Chicago sport's teams…..even after moving to Minnesota in recent years. Memorial Services will be held at East Immanuel Church in Amery, Wisconsin at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
