Kay (Katherine) Marie Larson

Kay (Katherine) Marie Larson, age 101, longtime resident of Forest Lake, MN, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2023. 

Kay was active with her community by volunteering for helping hand for many years and member of Crossroads Covenant and Linwood Covenant Church.  She was a gifted seamstress and an avid reader.  Kay was also a proud Columbus Township election judge. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Marie Radtke; husband, Verlo; 5 brothers; and granddaughter, Lindsay Knutson.

She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her including her daughters, Verlene Larson, Lois (Jeff) Knutson, Lorna (Chuck) Sopher; grandchildren, Cory (Keely) Huberty, Andy (Sarah) Sopher, Jacklyn (Joey) Knutson Price, Shannon Sopher; great-grandchildren, Alexander and Nicholas Huberty, Felix Price, Olive, Hattie and Wes Sopher; one brother; four sisters; many nieces, nephews, family and friends. 

A Celebration of Kay’s Life will be held at 11 am, on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Linwood Covenant Church, 6565 Viking Blvd. NE, Wyoming, MN.  The family will be greeting friends one hour prior to the service at the church.  Private interment will be held at Roselawn Cemetery, Roseville, MN. 

Memorials may be made out to Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge or Linwood Covenant Church.
