Kerry Drexler

Kerry Lee Drexler, age 48 of Delano, died peacefully Monday, November 5, 2007 following a couragous battle with cancer. Kerry was born February 24, 1959 in New Ulm, Minnesota the daughter of John and Jeannette (Wecker) Altenburg. Kerry worked at Donahue Harley Davidson for two years prior to her death. Kerry is preceded in death by her grandparents, Leonard and Alice Young, Milford and Eleanor Wecker; mother Jeannette I. Altenburg. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her including her beloved daughter April (Isam) Asfour; cherished granddaughter Gemma-Gevara; dear former husband John Drexler; devoted friend Michael Stapleton, Hanna Stapleton; brother Mark (Marcia) Longcor; niece Cryshall Weiland and her family; sister Kris Parkinson; brother Mike Longcor; many other devoted friends.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 10, 2007 at Delano United Methodist Church, 3310 County Line Road SE, Delano. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment at New Ulm Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Wright County or Brown County Humane Societies.
