Kyle Olson

Kyle Gene Olson, born October 10, 1963, died June 21, 2019 at 55 years, 8 months, 11 days. His illness, interstitial lung disease (ILD) took his life way too soon.  Born to Gene and Audrey (Dammann) Olson, Kyle was the 5th of 8 children.   He grew up in Stacy, Minnesota and graduated from North Branch High School in 1982.  He always worked locally at places including Wild Mountain, Barzen International, Wyoming Machine, and Olson Construction.   He spent many hours watching the Green Bay Packers win and western movies.  He enjoyed riding his Harley, helping neighbors and maintaining the family farms.  He is joining his mother Audrey in heaven along with his grandparents, Helen, Russell, Alvin Sr., Faye and Edgar.  He leaves behind his dad, Gene Olson;  5 smartass brothers, Kurt (Debbie), Kent, Kerry (Annette), Kris (Missy), Kip, and 2 bratty little sisters, Karla (David) and Kelly (Troy).  Tons of nieces and nephews, Tiger (Rachele, Parker), Leigh (Dave, Josiah, Toby), David (Jess, Lily, Warren), Scott (Jenna, Anika, Odin, Oskar), Krystal, Jeremiah (Mikayo, Yuika), Alycia, Erynn, Sabrina, Vaughn and Pryce.  Aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, and of course, the goose, Hugh. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake.  Private interment at Stacy Cemetery, Stacy, Minnesota.
